I have eight Japanese-English dictionaries on my smartphone but this is the best of the bunch.
If you dont read Hiragana / Katakana, you will need to use this in conjunction with another app like Google Translate.
This is a Great piece of work. I find vocabulary quickly and have both hiragana and kanji. First Choice for japanese dict

Some bad moments
The articles are not bad, definitely better than JDICT. But the tool itself is from stone age. No kanji reading in En-Jp, no highlite/copy-paste(they blocked this simplest thing) to make a reverse search for kanji reading. Search string is erased when switching dict. direction. No partial search and search for simillar kanji words. I wish I could get Jwpce with those databases on iPhone.，
Recent and bookmark functions failed after the last update
English to Japanese i would like to hear the Japanese pronunciation. Japanese to English the English pronunciation.
I really love this App. I use this everyday. Very useful for Japanese or foreigners who can read/study Japanese.
Whats nice about this app is that one has the ability to go through every definition, word by word starting with the letter of the alphabet in both English and Japanese.
Use it every day, cannot be without it. It covers a lot of medical terminologies that I need!!
Ive always loved this dictionary, but havent used it in a few months, and now it wont load at all. It crashes right from the loading screen... Please fix this soon!
